I know how terribly far behind I am on all of my blogs about new things, but I have decided to take some time this Thanksgiving break to catch up on some of them, starting with this one
The New:
Since this is the time of year for sore throats and stuffy noses, I was not shocked when I woke up a couple weeks ago with these problems. In hopes of finding an easy way to deal with that awful feeling in my throat, I went to Pinterest and had great success. Here's the one I tried:
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
1 mug of tea
Essentially, you just brew any kind of tea and then add the honey and vinegar to it. Very Simple!
The Evidence:
I chose to use cranberry apple tea.
The Verdict:
No doubt, this quick and easy recipe cured my sore throat! However, the taste was less than delightful. Maybe next time, I'll make a bigger mug of tea so the vinegar taste isn't so pronounced, or maybe use a different flavor of tea. I definitely need to make some adjustments before I use this as a go-to cure.
